not really. It's almost as if controlling every single newspaper bar the Guardian and Mirror, and planting officials in the BBC and ITV has given them an unstoppable propaganda machine
plus Starmer and Labour are just... ****ing awful

the Tories don't exactly have a strong opposition
and as long as you got certain news media on your side (bit like in US where republicans got FOX & Friends on their side whom dissect every democrat candidate for any dirt they can find) i'm so here for that day the UK will finally live to their name ''Great'' in Great Britain with a better party and a better government in power but yes Boris is deserving in power as of now, but lol its more choosing between two weaker sides

YouGov are wildly inaccurate.
Don't forget this is the same poll that said that Theresa May would have a 100 seat majority against Corbyn.

Since polling has been way out on most elections and even referenda too Mock. I never take notice of them. Nor put any faith in any one selected poll, even one that just suits my preference. The average lead of Con over Labour is around 8/9 percent. That's overall less than the 2019 election position. The ONLY nearest National poll we've had are the local and Mayoral elections this year. Wherein the breakdown of actual votes was Con 36% and Labour 29% . On the lower turnout there is in local elections. However that's only 7% There's margins of errors in all polling anyhow. Figures of 44 to 31. Can easily be in margins of error figures of around 41 to 34. Oddly enough a 7% gap. Possibly still in line with the local elections results. |

Given that labour are utterly unelectable at the moment without a policy in sight, you would expect the tories to be miles ahead and they are not. That should be of greater concern

Yes I'm surprised.
This government have been in power now way too long. Give Labour a chance. I know they're all the same, but we need to do something |

Tbf the Tories are very likely to win (the Media is on their side after all) but I definitely think it'll be by a very different margin to whatever YouGov says.

Honestly if it weren't for the Media being up the Tories butt we would've had PM Corbyn against Theresa May that's how bad she was as leader.

And from what I've noticed the main voters at Elections tend to listen to BBC News more than they listen to people on YouTube. Although you do make a fair point LT that those companies you've named are pro Labour.

Facebook is RIDDLED with tories. Twitter is probably an even split. TikTok and YouTube work on an algorithm- if you like watching story content, they will serve you pro-Tory content all day (and that goes for any other leaning or hobby or whatever). They learn what you like to see and show you more of it. If you are pro Tory, they will be pro Tory.
