That's Everton for ya, only one actual team comes from Liverpool

Generally I'm all for accused celebs' names being kept out of the public knowledge until there's a conviction, or at least compelling evidence.

…I’m not sure that can be posted on a U.K. site, Nicky….you probably should remove and check that …I know the injunction doesn’t cover all overseas media as well but I think it’s still applicable to sites in this country…

That's because our courts have no jurisdiction in your country. Had this happened there and your courts put an injunction out, your media couldn't name him, but ours could.

Laws are there to be upheld, our media will be dying to name him, but not at the cost of breaching the injunction.

Every person has the right to a fair trial and is considered innocent until proven guilty. The courts have a duty of care to protect the accused until then.

Don't get me wrong, if he is guilty he deserves all he gets and more but there has to be a fair trial....the victims deserve that far more than he does.

It is a double edged sword as the finger of suspicion also points at other, innocent people so it would be easier if the.media DID name him as we have already had one player who has been wrongly named on social media and that kind of accusation can ruin lives.

As it is though, our media cannot break the law.
