So basically, Texas is still off it's medication and they've written a law to make it so that someone can't be banned from a social media platform for their 'viewpoints'. It's completely unenforceable since most Social Networks do not call Texas home, but essentially it's a law that would basically allow misinformation and bigotry to run unchecked if it was in any way enforceable.

It's quite funny, Every conservative acts like it's a business' right to deny custom to gay people if they want a cake made but they can't stand the thought of Right Wingers being held accountable for their actions and being booted off of social media platforms that are run by businesses. As always, the right wingers don't understand that opinions come with consequences. A person who voiced support for gay rights or for better treatment for black people a few decades ago would place themselves at risk with these same people who can't stand that they might be banned from a private platform for being a bit of a racist.

No one had an issue when Twitter decided to do this to people like Trump or Hopkins, why the issue now it Texas does similar. Both infringe on free speech.

Also going to an extremely known religious business and asking for them to make a gay wedding cake is asking for trouble, why would you go to a business that doesn’t share your views? It’s ludicrous on both sides. Surely you would want to support other local businesses that may be struggling rather than trying to make a point rather than rightfully looking like an idiot.

Texas is a fantastic place and I can’t wait to go back next year, got it all booked in now.

Whenever i see the word "bigot" it reminds me of when a lady collared Gordon Brown PM and asked him a legitimate question about immigration. He could not answer and was caught out - when back in his car and not knowing he was miced up he called her a bigot to make himself feel superior and better for being exposed

I do agree that the USA is a country we're more likely to follow than the likes of Saudi Arabia, but Texas is a bit of a random place to get a hate-boner over, I can think of worse places to sit around googling to get angry about
