It's already been stated that there is no shortage of fuel, the fuel itself is available, there's a haulage problem that means in some areas fuel isn't getting out to the filling stations as efficiently as usual (and so they are running dry). This will of course be even worse when the panic-filling starts.

That poster is notorious for his inaccurate thread titles unfortunately.

We filled up a few days ago but my wife uses a fair bit of fuel. Might have to ration our weekend driving if there are queues up here.

We started filling to the brim on every trip to the petrol station a couple of years back - realised that it's a false economy not to. Like... you just drive the distance you drive... surely... putting in less fuel doesn't somehow make your journey shorter or mean you need to use the car less, just means you'll be back getting fuel sooner. I used to be like "We'll just put in Ł30" but then we're back putting in another Ł30 at the end of the week, and might has well have saved the hassle and just put in Ł60 in the first place .

Just go syphoning. But do it in a rich area. Like a modern day Robin Hood.

No, not being allowed into private property or businesses because you are unvaccinated is not apartheid. You have the choice to not get vaccinated and nobody has to risk themselves to accommodate your decisions. You're just deeply arrogant and self-entitled and you think that you can do what you want and force your presence in businesses and areas that don't belong to you. You are not a victim of bigotry, you were not born a gullible anti-vaxxer conspiracy theorist, you chose to be that. Your struggle is non-existent and self inflicted.

A person can choose to have a vaccine, and others are allowed to decide if they want to take the risk of associating with a pro-disease person in the middle of a pandemic. The problem is that you're so deluded that you think it's a one way choice, that you can decide to not get vaccinated and everyone has to bend over backwards for you and now you've got some embarrassing victim complex because the world won't cater to spoiled anti-vaxxer brats.

Deprogramming is an act of breaking the hold a cult has over it's members. You are pretty much ingrained in any and all cultish conspiracy theories you happen to here. Just for fun, what are your thoughts on Sandy Hook?

Finally, stop lying. I never said I'd want anyone to be denied medical aid. What I said was that if anti-vaxxers don't trust doctors and medical professionals to vaccinate them, why do they trust them to save their lives? If people think Covid and the pandemic is fake and overblown, they should stick to their convictions when they get Covid and see how they do with this 'fake' illness. Learn how to read and I won't be able to show you up so easily.
That's all well and good.

But the main question is. Who's your money on for Tibb dancing on frozen water?

Yeah .. supply and demand.

Hgv drivers can make some good money in the short term but I guess that loads of bosses will remember who let them down and the boot maybe on the other foot next time
