James Wade totally demolishing his opponent last night

Price struggling a bit against Bradley Brooks 10-8

Jonny Clayton a stunning 10-1 win over Nathan Rafferty

today last half of the L16 matches

Suljovic vs Sherrock i personally look forward to, of course since i am TeamFallon, already amazing how she had a 170 finish in the group stage (shares that currently with Rowby-John Rodriguez) do think she has a chance here, also because she does already her opponent here (previously played against each other in her world championship debut)

normally Peter Wright should do okay against De Sousa, but De Sousa can have his moments of brilliance too so could be a close call this one depending on what form Joao is in currently

Van Gerwen - Anderson, hmmm don't know how to rate Gary currently anymore, but Van Gerwen can be very hit and miss form wise, if he is in good form he is superb, if he is in bad form, he is easily beatable so idk about that one too

Smith - Cullen, think Bully Boy has the edge and experience here over Joe

we love you Fallon we do, we love you Fallon we do

Fallon we love you

me supporting her since women's BDO beginnings of her career, she really is a great talented darts player

and i so agree with our commentators, critics, Fallon does so well under pressure, better than some of male darts stars (nerves of steel one of the comments here)

in my nation she is also very much trending

MVG up next for her, her second match against him too

The players for the Premier league are usually announced right after the World final which is tonight.

They're's usually 10 players.

My predictions of who will get a place in the Premier league are. Peter Wright, Gerwyn Price, Jonny Clayton, Michael van Gerwen, Michael Smith, Dimitri Van der Bergh, James Wade, Jose De Sousa and Gary Anderson. The last spot I'm undecided on, probably either Nathan Aspinall or Rob Cross.

The Premier League players have been announced.

Peter Wright
Gerwyn Price
Michael van Gerwen
James Wade
Gary Anderson
Michael Smith
Jonny Clayton
Joe Cullen

It will be a new format.

Instead of all playing eachother, each Premier league night will be an eight man tournament, with quarter finals, semi finals and a final.

Starts this Thursday night from Cardiff.

Anyone fancy a random draw compitition.

It will be a tibb game for the premier league of tibb championship.

I could do a weekly tombola draw for your players each week so you dont have to have the same person for the whole season and see who can get most points.

10 for the won obviously.

I guess I need eight players

Tomorrows games are...

Jonny Clayton vs Joe Cullen
Gerwyn Price vs James Wade
Peter Wright vs Michael Smith
Michael van Gerwen vs Gary Anderson

The winners will go to the semi finals and then a final.

So there will be 7 games in all.

A prediction game could involve picking the winners of the quarter finals and picking an overall winner on the night.

Smith should win his first major tonight, his scoring was red hot in the semi and will only have Noppert or Willy O'Connor in the final

He's got a great chance now although it will be a different pace of game than the semi final and Michael put some hard effort into that Semi so will he have enough left in the tank?

I think he'll be OK as long as he keeps his head, it's not a massively long format

Not sure I've seen O'Connor play before but I like his throw, it's very controlled and consistent. Odd that a member of the crowd grabbed his left thumb and he can't really use that hand now, must be very distracting

James Wade is on fire tonight. Into his 4th final in 5 weeks. Just beat Gerwyn Price in the semi 6-1 with a 114 average.
