Default How do you like your weed?

Another one for the resident stoners (obviously). Answers like “weed has such a dank smell I would never do it x” aren’t what I’m looking to entertain so if that’s you please don’t comment as you’ll add very little to the thread of discussion.

Only smoke spliffs tbf most of the time. I don’t like really like joints cos they don’t smoke as well. Haven’t done edibles in about a year but the last few times they did nothing to me (first few times was the most stoned I’ve ever been in my life though - could’ve just not bought as high strength the next few times idk). Done a bong once a few years ago, never really seeked/had the opportunity since.

I’m one of those people who’d dabble with the more niche stuff (tinctures, delta-8 gummies, hash oil) if I lived in California or somewhere but in the U.K. you learn to make do with your limitations and smoke what you can in the way you can.

Joints are my go-to when I do choose to actually smoke weed but space cakes are the one for me, really. Purely because they get you higher for longer and they’re discreet (if your flatmates aren’t cool with you smoking weed, it’s a better option).

How come pure joints don’t smoke well for you?

Cannabis is medicinal and spiritual (if you had cultural seasoning you’d know). Alcohol is much worse.

I just find they don’t smoke as well from personal experience they tend to not burn as evenly/need to keep being re-lit.

Never had weed or any other recreational drugs - except booze.

But I haven't drunk booze for 7 years.

A much better life.

I was like this for like..20 years until fairly recently. Also my only real experience of it was being bullied into having a LOT of it in a short space of time when I was 14/15 and being very ill. I dont mind it now, but do wonder if thats because I just dont notice it as now I stink of it much of the time

Yeah the smell of weed is unpleasant to me so I would never do it. It's a hard smell to describe. Dank, I guess.

We got the garden done for the final time this year last week, and he was sposed to put down weed killer but they’re not dead so he blatantly did not. So plenty here you could come and pull up if you really want.

Gummies and joints are the best. Joints are to get stoned, and gummies are to relax a bit. I sometimes take gummies during the day to relax, and it works better than coffee.
I’m so glad I found a good source of CBD products online and don’t have to waste time looking for a local dealer anymore. If you’re interested, you can find more info here. They’ve got all kinds of stuff one might need, including my favorite CBD gummies and prerolls I like.
I don’t smoke joints that often. Once or twice a month is perfect. It’s something I don’t want to get used to, so the effect is always strong.

Coffee is a stimulant HOWEVER it in theory could help to relax and focus people who have any sort of ADHD symptoms, which is the opposite of what you would expect. Ritalin (common ADHD prescription medication) is also a stimulant, for example.

I think in theory it increases focus, which decreases racing/jumbled/disjointed thinking (which is stressful), and the clearer thinking = more relaxed.

I guess as a compare and contrast, a depressant (weed, alcohol) helps people's anxieties by numbing them to it and taking away the adrenaline response. A stimulant (ritalin, caffeine etc.) can help anxiety by offering greater clarity of thought (so better ability to think rationally about those anxieties).

You can of course go too far with either and end up depressed ("down") or paranoid ("up") e.g. you don't really hear about people feeling relaxed on cocaine or meth

Very interesting

Thank you

Maybe I should increase my one a day coffee given I’m Aspergers ( spectrum) and ADHD …

Just a little glass bowl/pipe is my preference, you can pack just the amount you want.
