I had the same amount of pain in my shoulder arm and hand from my first injection and it has been easing off in my arm

I read up on the side effects of the covid jabs

It seems Pfizer acts a little differently

Sajid Javid begins by telling MPs there have been 261 confirmed cases of Omicron in England, 71 in Scotland and 4 in Wales, bringing the total number of confirmed cases to 336.

This includes cases with no links to international travel, he says.

"We can conclude there is now community transmission across multiple regions in the UK," he says.

The variant is also in 52 countries, he adds.

Yikes ... 25% increase in infections over a SEVEN day period !!

Sadly ... higher rates of hospitalisations and deaths usually follow 10-14 days later

Just as an update on this, my upper arm has been really swollen since yesterday evening and I woke up in the night in a fair bit of pain (as it's the side I lie on.... didn't think that through when I picked the arm...) . It's still pretty warm/puffy. Hoping for a better sleep .

Really must get our boosters.
My sister now has covid, as does our niece.
Sister has no spleen or immune system, is diabetic, and has emphysema.
She feels ok at the minute, just a sore throat the past few days.

I didn't get it, I'm not theoretically opposed to it but not both at the same time. Child with additional needs to take care of etc. so was keen to minimise the risk of being wiped out for days like I was with the AZ jabs.

If your appointment is for both you can just decide there at the time. I didn't get a choice when booking - the letter I for was technically to book a flu jab but said "you'll also be offered Covid booster if it's more than 6 months since your 2nd dose". I just went in and when they asked if it was for both I was like "my appointment is for both but I just want the Covid one please and thank you" and they weren't bovverd.

I got both at the same time (the Pfizer and flu) last week and apart from soreness in both arms for a day or two I was totally fine.
