Things like this really piss me off to an insane level, normally as a family we get together on Christmas Eve and Boxing Day to see each other, it was a tradition, but we were good little citizens and obeyed the rules we were told we had to follow to help the nation as much as possible, so we cancelled all of our Christmas plans, like we were told that we needed to do.

For it to turn out that while all of us good little citizens followed the rules, that those twats in power flagrantly didn’t follow their own rules and completely disregarded every one of their own rules they set for us little people, just to do whatever they wanted to do anyway, because they clearly see themselves as above the rest of us, it’s a ridiculous abuse of power and position.

Am I coming at this from emotional point of view? Absolutely, because while they were going about business as usual, my family - at the order of the government - gave up our last Christmas with my Mum, just for it to be revealed that we were being laughed at by the people at the top, for following the rules they set, it’s beyond gross, but is anything going to happen to them? Obviously not, cause good ol Boris has a ‘good personality’ it’s sickening

In all honesty after the Cummings Debacle I said we would suit ourselves and do what we needed to keep ourselves and our family safe, we haven't really followed what the government have said for ages now, we make our own minds up about what to do and what not to do

Imagine voting for Tories but not apologising to every person you’ve met ever since. The audacity of some people honestly.

The BBC text :
[The i newspaper reports that contenders
for the leadership of the Conservative Party
are circling "a PM in peril".
It pictures Chancellor Rishi Sunak and
Foreign Secretary Liz Truss
and says that Mr Sunak's backers are
"canvassing support" for him if things "fall down" for
the prime minister.
While the paper reports Ms Truss is "wooing" backbenchers
over dinner.
The paper also reports that a Covid "Plan C"
is being drawn up and officials are preparing
tougher restrictions to be approved by ministers,
if the current Plan B fails to bring down infections.]

BBC Text :
[The Sun headlines with "WFP",
which the paper uses as short for "working form pub".
It reports on ways to "get round new Covid rules",
with one of them being that people
can work from the pub from Monday,
as no restrictions have been introduced to pubs,
restaurants and other hospitality settings.]

Its a complete joke this government Liam , 7 parties they've apparently had in the last year !! . I don't know what it will take for people to realise Boris is not only
incompetent and a waste of space but he's a mockery to everything .

Rules Never seem to apply to this government , they really don't give a damn. Yet they expect us to follow protocol.

Those parties do sound pretty wild - imagine needing an inquest to know if a party happened in your house, and if you attended...

SkyNewsText:
[The Sunday Mirror has a picture it says was taken
on 15 December last year,
showing Boris Johnson hosting a Downing Street quiz.
The paper adds that according to a source it
was "purely a social event".]
