think some contenders on paper are
Mathieu van der Poel, Primoz Roglic, Tadej Pogacar, Nairo Quintana, Rigoberto Uran think Peter Sagan is one to watch in the mountains, same goes for Bauke Mollema, Rafal Majka as for sprinters, lucky for rest Cavendish isn't taking part, some chances for Wout van Aert or some more surprise sprint stage winners am curious what the british can do, like Geraint Thomas or Chris Froome, or Adam and Simon Yates

stage 8 of today, we head into Switzerland
from Dole all the way to the finish line in Lausanne a place of some dutch successes, Gerrie Knetemann in 1978 and Erik Dekker in 2000 on the way to the finish, there are 3 cols, and the finish is at a 4th col, after the 3rd col there is a long downhill section and seems to be ideal for riders such as Wout van Aert, Mathieu van der Poel |
