As David Starkey said today

This is what happens when you import a policy from Communist China and try to replicate it in a democratic society like the UK

ie the ridiculous Chinese lockdown

GMBHD itv
says even if 54 letters go in
he can still fight it to stay on
with the Whole party voting.

he could do, but if he stays as leader he will lose the next election and thats a lot of new tory mp's out of a job, so i think it very unlikely.

Cabinet ministers always say they are supporting the current leader, but stick the knife in when the voting begins

Maybe he thinks he can
turn it around.

If he gets the Whole party backing him
he has a last chance.

Of course, he can also resign

For the time being I'm in favour for Johnson to stay. While I'm not happy with what's happening, when I look at what some of the other World leaders are doing at the moment then Johnson looks slightly more sane, but he's on thin ice.

Liz Truss and Rishi Sunak want to replace him and are believed to be just 2 who will send letters, more tories are expected to throw their hat in the ring but those are the 2 most likely to be next PM

Gosh, when virtually all the tabloids -from the Guardian to the Daily Mail- are saying the same thing ... Maybe they have a point?

What IS worrying is that last year everyone and their auntie were laughing at his every word ( when it suited them) ..

Yet now the very same people are hanging on his every word and treating him like he’s the second coming
