Is £40 your lot for drinks at the bar/club (and a kebab on the way home at 4 a.m.) or are you the sort of person who splashes out (whether you can actually afford to or not)?

Depends, I'm out tonight but I'm going to drive so i probably won't spend much at all, maybe €20 at a push. But I'm also out tomorrow night for food and drinks and probably will end up getting a taxi home so that might be close to €100

£0 as I don’t go out, it’s a waste of money and foolish. Just have a few drinks at home with mates, quiz, watch a show. Put your OWN music on.

Don't track it now because I think I'd be horrified lol but probably £100 on an average night out, trouble is these days it normally includes a meal and it starts in a pub in the late afternoon/early evening instead of drinking round someone's house like in my teens/early 20s

I remember nights out in London after bonus was paid and we all ended up in Stringfellows
waking up the next day and realising you had done £300 just in there (the 90s) horrific Now i just get horrified when I pass a garage and see the price of fuel |

Young people are going out to find a mate to procreate, its an innate desire, once that is done in life you are more inclined to stay home and entertain. also when you get older you realise that paying silly prices for alcohol you can buy 5 times cheaper from a supermarket makes more sense.
I dont regret going out when young People are the same, ages and life-stages are different |

Totally depends on what I'm doing and where I'm going. Could be a quick drink so £20-£30 or a big night I tend not total it up as the fear and shame sets in
Quite happy staying home though too

Nights out for us is a meal with a couple of drinks…normally coming in under 75.00. If I’m out for a meal with my girlfriends…35-40.

Depends where I go out. If I was local then probably £60-£80.
Went out in London Friday night and I spent nearly £180 |

I'm not much of a drinker, so I'm a light weight. My friends and I usually predrink anyway to save money I usually have like, a bottle of vodka and cola before going out, and then a token beer occasionally once out and the odd entrance fee, if that's the case.
Never more than 20-30. |
