Why do I have a feeling we won't hear anymore about this. I really really want to be hopeful as cancer is such a horrible cruel disease. Any breakthrough has to be a good thing though.

[Cancer breakthrough as scientists find
a 'treasure trove' of 58 new genetic clues that point
to causes of the disease and raise hopes
about better treatments to save more lives
Cambridge University team studied
the genome of 12,000 cancer patients
They spotted 58 new patterns
in tumour DNA,
suggesting new cancer culprits
Lead author said these patterns are
like 'fingerprints at a crime scene']
