Has anyone else seen the awful news footage of the Panthers player who had his throat sliced by his team mates skate.

Omg thats horrific, lucky it didnt cut right through otherwise he would of been dead. Very lucky.

Yep them there ice skates are sharp little things. I think it was amazing that he skated back to the bench himself. I saw it on you tube and it looks pretty bad.

Yep me as well. My daughter plays ice hockey and one of her team mates had his collar bone smashed at the weekend. Luckily my daughter has only had minor injuries while playing but it makes you worry.

Just heard the awful news that a girl my daughter has played both against and with in tournaments and for North of England has had a terrible accident at the weekend playing ice hockey. She has a broken neck and a bruised spinal cord. It is just the worst news we could imagine for a young person who loves her hockey.
