I'm so bored of this now that Johnson should just resign because it's just gonna go on and on. And so too should Starmer, he's as guilty. It may set us back as a country but at least it will get these two fools out of the way. Bring on the next two fools.

If he's not gonna resign or be 1922ed out, the Opposition should use his (fake) contrition to get some stuff put through to help with the cost of living. I wouldn't be surprised if a bunch of stuff gets announced anyway, to try and sweep Partygate under the rug.

I'm glad the public haven't forgotten about this and let it go.

If Boris has some personal integrity and dignity to speak of (which he doesn't), he'd resign and fade into obscurity.

[Revisions to the ministerial code,
which mean that ministers who are found
to have breached the code will no longer

Ministers who break standards rules in a "minor" way will not be expected to resign or face the sack, under new government guidelines.

It has long been a convention that MPs should quit government for breaking the Ministerial Code in any way.

But in a new section of the code, the PM has been given the option of ordering a lesser sanction instead.
