You were anti-Corbyn - the only politician that offered public ownership. That 119% rise is what you all voted for.

It’s still slapping a sticking plaster on a wound that needs stitches, they need to look at how to stop the bleeding not how to mop up the blood.

All of this combined barely covers the gas & elec increases and even then only for the worst off. We still have on top of that, prices at the pumps continuing to rise, food prices continuing to rise… if food and fuel go up another 10% (they probably will) then that’s every one of these measures wiped out already.

Real measures are needed to stop the cost of living CONTINUING to increase. Not these measures to try to mitigate little bits of the shortfall. It’s better than nothing but that’s about all that can be said.

If energy prices continue to increase in 2023 it’s completely unsustainable, drastic action needs to be taken.

The prediction seems to be that energy prices will fall in 2023, not sure how they can predict that but its has been mentioned from several sources

the energy companies buy at future prices, so they know the price is coming down, because thats what they paid for it

I (usually) get anything disabilities related as well because it’s technically my daughters and thus not means-tested. Kids disability stuff has just switched from DWP to Social Security Scotland though… however it’s usually matched £ for £ to England if not more.
