That’s the standard protective father routine

I’d rather my daughter be with an older man who worshipped her than some snotty nose kid treating her like sh1t

It’s hard but they are not kids forever

See you are pressuring I think like you other fathers.

You could jump up and down and scream the house down but at 18 they are an adult.

What's up with the Black Country? Besides Wolverhampton Wanderers anyway.

But in all seriousness in that scenario it would honestly depend on how long that they've known each other for.

Like for example if he was her Teacher back in Primary School then I'd see that as a massive red flag.

Depends really on how big the age gap is and their intentions. Can't really say anymore than that .

Also how they met plays a part in it aswell .

You're too butch to run far. you know it, and I know it.

You're brother however, well that's a different story.

How so? What would constitute a good way and a bad way to meet?

My brother is smaller than me but he is just as strong his son is tall and skinny but can punch like a mule.

If it was a run for the pub you would win

E.g if the older person was their boss , teacher , or their parent's friend , or their best friend's mother or father etc . That would be awkward/ weird.

As for a good way , I don't know just something relaxed & comfortable . Online dating seems to be how alot of people meet ,or if they've known eachother a while etc.

I think there's a point where it works and then not... I was 17 when I met the kids dad he was 25. Then when I was 23 and he was 31 it felt odd.

That's why people's intentions are really important.

Sometimes the gap can be far too big ,but other times it could be fine. Depends on the age difference. also they might not have much in common. Everyone is different.

Another weird example I just thought of aswell is if the person use to be their babysitter , that would be a red flag I would say.
