Default What do you iron?

Are you a fanatic and iron everything including socks and tea towels?

Or do you just iron what's absolutely necessary?

Nothing.
Hubby might drag the ironing board out once in 18 months if he needs something ironed.

As little as possible (as compulsively-organised as I am otherwise when it comes to things like that).

Shirts and kids school stuff, mainly. I wouldn’t bother with things like t-shirts etc.

I’m baffled about the ironing of jeans and jumpers, LT.

Jeans are suppose to crease...

If you hang your jumpers once washed then they shouldn't need an iron?

Personally, very rarely unless it's a formal shirt

I’m not willing to accept that it’s even possible to crumple a jumper.

Ummmmm, you lived under a rock your whole life?

Of course you can, but it's a lot more crease resistant, depending on fabric than s lot of other garments.

If you wash it correctly and hang it correctly then a jumper should not need ironing, bit they certainly can do crease.

Don't put 100% wool in the washing machine.

I learnt the hard way and ended up with a tiny jumper. I managed to re-wet and resprawn it by constantly stretching it out. Hand wash

Corrr blimeyyyy.

You must be exhausted. Poor chap.

I get in a flap with ironing so I don't do it, not really needed either.

The times I have got the iron out and a can of starch I tend to iron in more creases than there were to begin with.

That's after I've had a fight with the ironing board trying to erect it correctly

If you fold things properly you won't need to iron them (except shirts but I don't wear shirts so)
