Aldi do a great 100% nuts peanut butter, no palm oil 280g jar for £1.15
Tesco do Meridian 280g for £2.60 Cant tell the diff between the two |

Aldi has some great savings Now Asda UK has cheaper meals for those who lack funds and they are easy to find |

Budget food has been around forever though. Remember Tesco blue stripe in the 90's? 9 Pence for a 2ltr bottle of Cola.

I remember it having a funny taste, more watery, i actually quite liked it though. The budget Lemonade had a fizz on that could take your head off

I don't see the point in them, they're unhealthy and less cost effective than batch cooking. As for the o/p, why would anyone who shops in Asda be more embarrassed by the colour of the packaging? Kidding, I shop there But anyone who's genuinely short on money shouldn't be whinging about the pigmentation on the outside of the horrible "meal" they're buying.
