I don't think it would work . But if Alison was a guest host of the spin off BOTS then it would be ok.
I don't know why people want Emma & Davina to come back , surely the whole point is to have a fresh new presenter. I still want either Vick Hope, Miquita Oliver or AJ Oduba But I know ITV will pick the wrong person I bet  . I'm surprised nauseating Holly Willoughby's hat hasn't been thrown in the ring , seen as she dominates everything especially ITV related .
