[Workers should be offered pay rises in line
with inflation - however Labour's position
is that pay negotiations are for unions and ministers.
Speaking for the first time since he
was sacked, Sir Keir explained: "Sam Tarry was sacked
because he booked himself onto media programmes
without permission and then made up policy on the hoof.

"That can't be tolerated in any organisation because
we have got collective responsibility,
so that was relatively straightforward."

Well he wasn't MAKING policy on the hoof.
He was stating his view that rises should be bigger.

Starmer never answers what he even thinks rises could or should be.
So how was this against and contradicting policy.
Since Starmer hasn't a POLICY or even a view it seems.

I am wondering why Keir Starmer isn't the third candidate in the Tory leadership run.

That doesn't make any sense Starmer when at present there's no solid policy directive on the strikes or the size of any increases of pay.

Saying it's for the companies and unions to work out but adding the government SHOULD be involved.
Is NOT a policy.

It's not even basic common sense.

It's wrong that a Labour leader would order any of his MPs to not be seen on a picket line of a justified dispute.

Sam Tarry stated they should get rises in line with inflation.
So if he was wrong to say that as HIS PERSONAL view.
Presumably Starmer then doesn't believe the workers do.
Explain that one Starmer and good luck trying to, because he will risk alienating hoards of working people on that one.
AGAIN.

Starmer "booked himself onto media programmes

SkyNewsHD
pointed out Sam did say New Policy
for when Labour take power.

it's not believable that he was sacked for going on TV. MP's make off the cuff statements on air all the time . If thats the case, does that mean that when Angela called all tories scum, it was an authorised labour position? I don't think so

[Labour MP Sam Tarry has demanded further
details about a vote which led to him being
deselected as a candidate by his local members,
calling it a "manufactured political circus".

The former shadow transport minister
faced the ballot in his Ilford South constituency
on Monday night after local branches voted
in favour of the reselection process.

Mr Tarry lost by 499 votes to 361,
meaning he will not be able to fight for the seat
as the Labour candidate at the next general election,
with local members choosing the leader
of Redbridge Council, Jas Athwal, to replace him.

It is the first time one of the party's MPs has been
ousted this way in more than 10 years.]

Yes a bit Nasty.

Starmer not willing to forgive his error
of speaking of a Policy on the Strike Picket line.

Also, just stated on Times Radio Live
Sam was the manager of Jeremy Corbyn.

Which tells is more of the reason.
