Don't know why people are so obsessed with the Arctic Monkeys - they are utter c**p. Pete Doherty winning hero of the year is a joke, and not a very funny one.

Glad the Manics won their award though.

These are even more absurd than the Brit Awards. Villain? Who the hell are some indie music snobs to decide what makes a "villain", and how many of them can actually name a single bad thing George Bush has done, without consulting some nearby bandwagon?

Absolutely ****ing pathetic. *fumes*

As for Noel Fielding, The Mighty Boosh and Kate Nash - they can all **** off too.

The only award I agree with is The Hoosiers being worst band.

All of the winners are understandable though - I don't like The Mighty Boosh, myself, but it has a massive fanbase and a very underground NME-esque one at that. The only one I wouldn't understand is Kylie as "sexiest woman".
