[Four-year-old boy has died after
an incident at a Center Parcs resort.
The emergency services were called
to the resort at Longleat in Wiltshire
following a "serious medical incident" at
a swimming pool shortly after

I really do not understand how something like this can happen in a pool with presumably a lifeguard and surely he can't have been in the pool without an adult, tragedy

So tragic.
Same, I don't understand it.
I remember I took my young nephew to a water park. One of us adults were always there with him.

[A holidaymaker staying at the Center Parcs
site for Christmas told PA News agency
there was a temporary barrier across
the entrance to the pool.

The mother-of-five, from the Midlands,
said the resort had made public announcements
that the Subtropical Swimming Paradise

Water park would remain closed for Christmas Eve.

"If I hadn't been on the group or seen the
announcement on the news,
I'd have been none the wiser," she said.

"It's very quiet though... it does say there'll be
an announcement later on today re the pool."]

It was the rapids that got him. But I’m pretty certain there’s an age limit so I’m not sure how a 4 year old got into them.
I remember the rapid at the one in Cumbria were leathal. I think someone drown and a lot of people were injured so they turn the power down and it was no longer fun
