Default BBCnewsHD : ENDS nightly newspaper review ahead of channel merger

So now It's SkyNewsHD 10:30PM and 11:30PM

And GBnewsHD One Hour Long 11PM Every day.

[The Papers, which airs for 15 minutes
after BBC News at Ten on the 24-hour news channel,
was produced for the final time on
Monday night (2 January).

The BBC announced earlier this year
it planned to merge its UK-focused BBC News channel
and the BBC World News channel to create
one single 24-hour TV news channel.]

I wonder how much the World Cup cost them, being that they "didn't really wanna be there" n'all!

I watched the BBC outro to the World Cup, they had a cast of hundreds out there. Just think of the people who can't stand football, still forced to pay/legally robbed by the BBC.

It's one of the most draconian accepted and executed "laws" still in force in this Country. They need to adopt an platform like every other channel, ads. Or become a subscription service.

I agree with you.

I personally think for the BBC's business model, I'd have them go for the Subscription Service model, mainly because their main appeal is that they don't have Adverts.

But the BBC fear
if you take away their Licence Fee (TAX)
they will not get enough subscriptions.

Best to add Commercials after each show.

They will have to change it
in the end.
