[The singer says he wants to pay for more scans
in other parts of the country if his event in Essex
is successful, to "prove I am not all mouth
and no trousers", as he hopes other people
follow in his footsteps.]

Rod used to vote Conservative,
He now is a Labour Party backer.

True .. Gary and Phil Neville let their own town football team go bust rather than help them out even though their father ran the club years before .

They probably pay more to their gardeners than the team needed to stay solvent
