West Ham are becoming increasingly frustrated about the delay with the deal to sell Declan Rice to Arsenal.

The £105million deal was agreed eight days ago but it has not been signed yet. West Ham are still waiting to sign the contracts.

The hold up is being caused by delays with paperwork being drawn up by Arsenal's lawyers.

As far as West Ham are aware, Rice has passed his Arsenal medical. He has been training regularly on holiday in Portugal.

Arsenal are hopeful of completing the signing of Rice before the squad flies to the USA for their pre-season tour on Sunday.

with regard to the Rice delay, the deal is not done until the contracts are signed, and obviously something is slowing that down on Arsenals side

The Saudi's have unlimited wealth. It seems like a lot to us, even with the crazy wealth thrown around in the PL. But the Saudi's are on a different level. This is just play money to them. No way will they ever make a profit on all these player investments. I give this latest football fad 4 years max until the Saudi's get bored.

They are supposedly offering £700,000 per week after tax … which is effectively a MILLION pounds per week yet they are reluctant to pay the £10 - £15 million fee for him ?
