Last Friday, eight days ago, I had my lastnbit of tobacco.

I am now only a vaper.

I have zero intentions of going back to the tobacco. I'm on the coca cola flavoured Vapes and have done the transition easily.

Only a week in and my chest feels better.

Next aim is to cut the nicotine content in vapes.

I smoked weed from the age of 15 and totally stopped that last year. 30 years, every day.

The problem is, I'm drinking more. I have to go to shop every night to get some lagers pretty much every night. At least it's only lager instead of Whiskey, which I became fond of in the past few years.

What I'm saying is I'm progressing in my mid forties.

I'm so lucky in life.

Well done Alf. I quit with a vape....weaned off the noctine till I had 0mg. The hand to mouth habit was hard to break but got there

Steve wraith, the bronson interviews...or the ricky Gervais shows which are often 3 hours long. I use them every night and it works a treat.

Do you find that you can sleep easily after coffee Alf? I only ask because if so (relaxing with a stimulant) it might mean you're a bit neurospicy (i.e. on the ASD/ADHD spectrum). For normal folks stimulants like caffeine stop people sleeping well, but stimulants on an ADHD brain have the opposite effect (help focus and thus relaxation).

Ritalin for example (an ADHD med) is a stimulant. Stronger than, but not dissimilar to, caffeine.

Nicotine is also a stimulant.

Best of luck with it Alf, the vape transition didn't work for me, cold turkey was the only way to go but hopefully it does for you (just don't get too addicted to that in the mean time)
