Yes...didn't enjoy this last one really. The earlier ones were just a little more genuine.

I just think they choose the wrong people this time … maybe they changed the selection team

They lost me half way through the winter series this year, and then we didn't even bother with the summer one past the first two or three nights.

I don't know what "it" the show had, but whatever it was, it's lost it.

Too Hot To Handle on Netflix is loads better tbh. Silly, irreverent and it's only like 10 eps per season... It's just a lot more fun .

Its sort of like a cross between Love Island and Ex On The Beach (except no exes)

My daughter dragged me into love Island.. kicking and screaming a couple of series ago as she knows I’m a sucker for reality shows / people watching / personality interactions ( and a pretty face ) lol

Really loved Maura and that series , then the Tommy and MollieMay one plus the Australian 2022 series was brilliant ( Claudia and Austen)

This series just had instantly unlikeable people apart from Jess

That was the same series?

I stopped watching LI a few seasons ago. It’s just been the same thing since season 3 with barely any new twists to keep people intrigued.

Its a damaging show that will be vilified in 5 years time as a blight on young people

Ooops

The Kai and Sanam one plus

Davide and Ekin-Su

I don’t think it needs any twists .. or stupid games for that matter- just interesting and likeable people

Why?

You don't have to watch it, it's not really fair to spoil it for the people that do enjoy Love Island.

I do agree with this.

It's basically this generation's X Factor.

Why don’t they just introduce things like books or have music available around the Villa ,

Maybe a table tennis - something to pass the time and even entertain us ?

Im sure one of the BB series used pans and a made up ball to have a competition between them - think Brian Dowling was involved and it was hilarious

Am I the only one that doesn't see the need to bash on Love Island all the time here. I mean come on why can't we just enjoy BBUK without having to put LI down. I personally am a fan of both and quite frankly I'm sick of seeing Big Bro fans constantly putting LI down and besides both are on the same network now, so I'm kind of like why is this still needed.

I'd also have to disagree with the sentiment here, I think this last season of LI has actually been pretty decent especially compared to the previous winter season. I've enjoyed most of the personalities, which is not something I can say about all seasons. On a final note, this is being posted in the BBUK category of the forum, so we're a little off-topic here really especially when we have a dedicated section for LI.

me

although just some contestants from LI, whom don't just rely on their LI minutes of fame

like Ovie Soko with his basketball career, or Molly-Mae Hague as a fashion businesswoman

or now Strictly's recent signing Zara McDermott with her documentary series, trying out as well for X Factor: Celebrity

or Ekin-Su with her acting career (which she already did pre-LI)

our version of LI i don't mind either, i mean Holly Mae Brood is a bombshell stunning presenter of ours and Viktor Verhulst, son of Studio 100 Daddy Gert Verhulst, of Samson & Gert duo
