There was a guy from Bournemouth on explaining that one of the best local spa- hotels had been closed down short notice to house 200 immigrants … at a cost of 100 local jobs lost ..

That’s a 100 local families effected plus loads of visiting families have had their holidays cancelled .. which effects all the local traders of course

[Illegal Migrants to be moved off
Bibby Stockholm barge after Legionella bacteria found

Legionella bacteria, which can cause a
serious type of lung infection known as
Legionnaires' disease, has been found in
the water on the barge.]

No it is through a water pipe they found it

Of Course that's before it is airborn

[People can get Legionnaires' disease or
Pontiac fever when they breathe in small
droplets of water in the air that contain the bacteria.
Less commonly, people can get sick
by aspiration of drinking water containing Legionella.
This happens when water accidently goes
into the lungs while drinking.]

Ch4HDnews
claims the 39 have now been taken off.

It's a big error
they failed to do the check on the water pipe water
that has Legionnaires' disease.

Default New Migrant Giant Barge will now hold 500 in Portland Harbour

Right so where did the legions disease on the barge come from !

Presumably one of the immigrants ?

So why aren’t they keeping everyone on board and containing the problem ??

By evacuating everyone won’t they just be spreading it inland now ??

Factfile

Italy, FRANCE , Spain, and Germany accounting for 75% of all reported cases worldwide !!

It was found in the water system, not from the people

It’s got to have originated from somewhere/someone though .. it’s rife in France ..

The travel-associated Legionnaires’ disease (TALD) surveillance scheme observed a 38% increase in cases

its usually from bacteria in the water supply. If the water has been standing for a while there is more chance of getting it

There are about 10 cases of it a week in the uk

Legionnaires is quite rare in the UK, with approximately 6 to 10 reported cases in England and Wales each week and in nearly 50% of these cases, the patient contracted the illness when travelling abroad.

Legionnaires found on a barge populated by ‘visitors’ coming from abroad ( notably FRANCE )

What dots are you joining, zeez? Every time someone answers one of your "just asking questions" posts, you pretend they haven't and carry on regardless.

No idea what you are getting at , sorry

The disease has been found on a barge populated by immigrants

Half the cases in the uk are traced to visitors from abroad

France has more cases than just about any other country

These immigrants have come from France

Those are the dots ..

Wonder how they discovered it, would it be normal to be testing the water? and if so the water would have been tested before they got on, usually the first time anyone knows about legionnaires is when someone contracts it, didn't health and safety sign off the barge just days ago, all seems a bit suss to me

It was the hotel owner’s that decided to take the governments money to house the immigrants

So blame the owners

it does seem a bit dodgy given it was just given the ok. I would also think that everything would have been replenished like new, so how did the get to a point where the water was filled with bacteria

I mean I know the government are incompetent but this seems laughable even for them

They were tests from before the start
it takes a few weeks to do proper testing

I would say a Junior member of staff
of this Government
needs sacking or moving.

Good job only 39 were on it

Simple Left for a long time
