My main gripe with MasterChef at the moment is the "cooking for your heritage" stuff.

Don't get me wrong I get that heritage cooking has always been apart of MasterChef to some extent, but in particular Luca and Jamelia are abusing the "heritage" card far too often imo, they're both using their heritage as an excuse to not do anything that might be risky, or just unpredictable from them imo.

And look I like both Italian and Jamaican food (on the bits that I've tried of Jamaican food) but I don't want contestants using those cuisines (or any cuisine for that matter) as a gimmick or as a safety blanket.

Let's have Luca do some Japanese food, and Jamelia do some Mexican food, shake their menu up a little bit.

I think I want Marcus to win at the moment, I'm also okay with the guy from The Wanted.
