See how apathetic you really are? On culture war issues, you'll go for days, and that's exactly how manufactured culture wars are supposed to work. Riling folks up about stuff that doesn't affect their lives, to replace stuff that does matter.

Not a criticism of you, by the way, because we have most of this island acting in exactly the same way.

While I'm happy to admit I sometimes fall for the "Bread and Circuses", I don't think I go on for days I generally think both sides of the culture wars are idiotic.

And it's not that I'm apathetic, I don't give the bigger issues a whole lot of thought, apart from in general terms. I generically dislike big corporations and big governments, and I prioritse the environment above all else. But unless there's a specific issue or instance, I don't have a whole lot to say.
Locally, I've been part of and started several campaigns to protect green areas from "having their potential unlocked", and successfully at that! So I don't think it's fair to say I'm apathetic tbh
