I would prefer it to be more basic than how it was in the later years.

Now, I do really like some of the later designs, but because there is so much going on and it's so in your face, for me it feels as though it takes some of the focus from the housemates, like it's a bit distracting?

Whereas when it's more basic it kind of makes the housemates stand out more, and so most of my focus is on them.

I don't know if anyone can relate to this.

So yes, I do prefer the more basic look like how it was in the early years, it would still be colourful and unique which I like, but not so over the top.

What would you prefer? Basic like the early years or in your face like the later years?

Any kind of design you would like in particular? I'm thinking I'd quite like a lot of wood.

Given how the garden looks, I could definitely see a lot of wood like the house BB2.

I agree with OP here. I like more stripped back houses. Not quite as simple as BB4, but not as elaborate as future houses became. I also prefer moderately sized houses - helps the claustrophobic feel, although I expect the new house to be quite open and spacious.

I also like the single staircase entrance, leading to a door into the main area of the house which branches off.
