Well it was a big gig for him, and it was all lost because of a few douchy comments.
Imo society tries to force people to be kind, but it's not very forgiving or kind if people make a mistake or two. And just to clarify I'm not saying to forgive hardcore criminals, it's your own personal choice if you want to do that, but I understand the controversy a lot more there. However we're talking about David Walliams, who seems largely harmless from what I can tell.
