The rules on what can and what cannot be shown on live tv are significantly different to what they were 20 years ago. You wont see an argument or a fight that could escalate on live TV for obvious reasons
I remember, years ago, watching a live local uk news broadcast, where a guy had built a structure that didn't have planning permission, and the council spokesman came along with police and builders to knock it down. The guy who built the structure pulled out a gun, pointed it at the council spokesman and shot him dead .... all on live tv
The rules for live broadcast changed from that moment forward
