Bez To Star In Get Fit Vid

Celebrity Big Brother winner Bez is reportedly set to cash in by performing his freaky dance moves in a fitness video.

The Sun says a string of TV production companies want him to be a workout star.

This is despite the fact that his love of cannabis and booze makes him an unlikely fitness guru, the paper says.

Bez, now 41, made his name with hit band Happy Mondays.

He hit the big time again by walking out as the winner of Celeb BB, carrying off the £50,000 first prize.

A friend is quoted in The Sun as saying: "Bez has been swamped with offers. He was amazed.

"His old Happy Mondays mate Shaun Ryder has been poking fun at him because he's only got two moves.

"But he's keen to make the most of the chance as he has money worries."

The Happy Mondays, the band in which Bez, recent winner of Channel 4's Celebrity Big Brother, first found fame as a dancer, are hoping to cash in on his unexpected success.

But the band, mindful that their appeal may not be as cutting edge as it once was, have opted to headline an Easter nostalgia week end alongside other survivors of the "Madchester" scene of the late 1980s and early 1990s.

Fronted by Shaun Ryder, the group have re-formed several times on an irregular basis since they originally imploded in 1993.

They will headline a two-day event called 24-Hour Party People at Brixton Academy alongside Liverpudlian band The Farm, playing their first gig in 10 years, and former members of the Inspiral Carpets and The Stone Roses.

The group, the often controversial leading lights of the so-called "baggy" movement, enjoyed a string of hits including Step On, Hallelujah and Kinky Afro.

Bez's Big Brother win has revived interest in the Happy Mondays, boosting sales of their Greatest Hits album. He is not the first member of the group to re-enter the public consciousness via reality TV - former backing singer Rowetta reached the final three in the ITV show The X-Factor.

Can'nt blame any of these people taking the money Should be funny to watch Bez's if he does one.

If anyone does buy it and it's any good let me know, could do with a good laugh.
