Default Xavi Simons: Update - Has signed with PSG and on loan to RB Leipzig

biggest question mark at the transfer market over here in my nation

Xavi can be bought back by Paris Saint-Germain for ''only'' 6 million, should Xavi want that himself since he has all the powers to decide, but his release clause for PSG is at 6 million

otherwise other teams have to pay a grand price of 50 or 60 million

my advice for him would be to stay at PSV, best for his career at the moment, to keep improving, also not to risk his place at the national team

and he already knows what he has at PSG, sitting on the bench or stands, but train with some bigger name players, but not much minutes in actual games

and for the money well he already has a nice couple of millions from what he earned at his Barca, PSG days

and i'm sure if he has another strong season now in eindhoven, more clubs will come for him next year

his father was also a decent footballer here in my nation, also has been manager of quite a few teams

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Regillio_Simons

108 games in total for Fortuna Sittard, but also played for NAC Breda, Willem II, Top Oss and even in Japan for Kyoto Purple Sanga

has been the manager of mostly amateur or semi-pro teams here such as Turkiyemspor Amsterdam, JOS Watergraafsmeer, SV Huizen, VV Hillegom, SC Voorland, Faja Lobi KDS, AFC Ajax (Amateurs)

some fun facts regarding Xavi
Quote:
In March 2020, Simons was named on Goal's "NxGn 2020" list of 50 best wonderkids in world football. He was also included in The Guardian's "Next Generation 2020" in October. Simons has amassed a large following on social media platform Instagram, with over 4 million followers. He also has a sponsorship contract with sporting goods manufacturer Adidas

if he chooses to go to PSG again, it is obvious he only thinks about the money then, and he can also forget about possible euro cups, world cups to go to with the national team

we don't choose someone who sits everytime on the stands

but yeah he has enormous potential to be a great one, i mean it, such a skillful technical talent he has, pure artistry is his style, you can see he has learned a lot from Messi, Mbappe, Neymar

this thread aged well

although am happy for him, good career move choice

RB Leipzig is a good club for talented youngsters, and i hope he becomes a star at PSG too

-----------
career so far

youth of Barcelona, Paris Saint-Germain, signed a professional contract at PSG for 3 years in 2019, with a salary of 1 million a year

signed on a free transfer with PSV in 2022

2023 he said yes to PSG's 6 million release clause offer, 4 million going to PSV and 2 million to Xavi himself

immediately being loaned out to RB Leipzig to try and make sure he will improve even more, before returning to PSG in 2024 where they will see and decide if he will get a chance in Paris next season

his salary now at PSG is between 8 and 10 million!
