I am struck by your listing intelligent, articulate, polite, compassionate and
cultured Matty alongside the homo habilis creatures of Psycho Tom and Jenkin the Jerk. Tom came second in the duplicity stakes, beaten by the repulsive Kerry, A profound injustice, as Tom was, clearly, the most duplicitous urchin in the house, as evidenced by his unforgivable, cruel and unjustifed hounding of Yinrun. Jenkin is no better, just marginally more aware than Tom, thanks to the 4 brain cells he stole from an Oxfam outlet
prior to entering the house.
Matty is a kind and decent human being. Paul and Tom are not, and their character flaws are plain for all to see, except, it appears yourself.
