I don't know if I've put the thread in the right section, but that can be hopefully sorted out later if I've got it wrong.

Anyway what storyline would you like to see attempted on TV that either never gets done, or it has been done in the past, but it's extremely rare to see on a TV Show in general?

For me I'm going for a really morbid idea (shock I know) I would like to see a Cop/Detective Show have a case (preferably be an arc in this case) where women are being taken, beaten, tortured, raped, murdered etc, be a really sadistic mother****er that the main characters have to try and stop.

Now where I would like to see the story pivot from the usual trope of this type of case in Crime Fiction, is for the Police to profile that it's a man doing this to the women, but really it turns out that it was a woman that had committed the crimes towards these victims.

And to mirror up with a real life serial killer in Ted Bundy, have the woman be seen as reasonably attractive, likable, and is able to put people at ease (including the detectives themselves) but really she's a complete and utter monster.

I know that I've thought too deeply about this.

But that's my personal storyline that I'd like to see be done on a TV Show, what would be your personal storyline that you'd like to see be depicted on a TV Show someday?

I haven't seen every cop show or detective series and the criminals are mostly male ,but there's been a mixture now of sadistic male & female criminals written that way, sure the women are working with the men though, like when there's the usual trafficking storyline of young women/ girls ,or just general torturing/ killing.

I remember in a Maigret episode a woman was supposed to have burnt another woman to death or something, you can't get anymore evil and twisted than
that.

I used to like Columbo where they showed you the murder in the opening credits then Columbo working things out from there

Yeah you should watch it, Rowan Atkinson does well in a straight serious role .

You ever watched Luther?, Alice is a ruthless character. But she's weird as you don't know whether you should like her or not. She will kill anyone,but she is like Luther's frenemy.
