I know this sounds quite insane but it's true.
I had a winter cut on my finger that I got due to the cold weather cracking my skin. But then it turned into an ulcer and was very painful. This went on for five days and on day five the wound had got bigger and was weeping - that's a watery substance coming out of it. I'd already been to the chemist but nothing worked. My mum used Fuller's Earth powder to dry up wounds and speed up healing. I didn't have any, so I thought of an alternative. Golden Fry Gravy Granules. ![]() ![]() ![]() And again, crazy as it sounds, I put a little on my wound. Within seconds the pain stopped, and it didn't weep. Within about two hours it had dried up completely and a scab was forming which is what I wanted. ![]() ![]() Just 20 hours later my wound is looking so much better and is healing. ![]() It's truly amazing. I think it's called serendipity. ![]() ![]() |

gosh have you looked at the ingredients as to what might have aided the healing, it is probably stacked with salt which is my go to for everything, salt in some warm water ....stings like crazy for for anything like mouth ulcers or cuts it works

yeah, warm water salt mouth wash is the best way to recover from any dental pain/wounds. Apart from the standard skin remedies, vitamin D works a treat for any persistent issues, so that means take a pill or get out in the sun

Why did you choose that .. rather than talcum powder or bicarb or something ? I saw a program in Discovery years ago where a guy living off the grid accidentally chopped through his arm …. hundreds of miles from anywhere .. anyways he poured half a bag of sugar into the open , profusely bleeding wound .. it’s apparently a ‘thing’ .. honey works as well supposedly Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro |

I’ve used pepper in the past on open wounds.
