Default amazon.com: Sign-in attempt

Got this email today. But I don't have an Amazon account.

'Please change your password' - and it directs me to a non Amazon site.

Scams, scams, scams.

I got one a while ago about 'suspicious activity ' , I checked the sender address and the URL was some food market store, but they pretended they were from Amazon . The scammers are getting more sneaky. Anyway I instantly deleted it not only from my inbox but also from the deleted folder.

I think that's probably why Amazon sometimes asks customers now to type in a captcha code aswell as
password to protect people.

never click on an email link. Go to the site using the url you usually use. You won't get caught out that way

Yes, but the link to change the password was not anything to do with Amazon.
