The Apprentice - Sir Alan\'s teams in food fury
Quote:
Sir Alan's teams in food fury The Apprentice hopefuls make a dog's dinner of tonight's task as tempers flare on the two teams.
The rivals take over pub kitchens in London, the girls led by Sara Dhada and the boys by Ian Stringer.
But boys' head chef Kevin Shaw ends up using Dolmio sauce for his 'traditional' home-made bolognese.
He also gets all the ingredients for his Italian dish wrong and says: "I think of myself as a culinary adventurer."
But Sir Alan's adviser Margaret Mountford says: "His ideas of an Italian menu leave a lot to be desired."
Meanwhile, Claire slates Sara's Bollywood theme for tonight's BBC1 show - screened at 9pm - saying: "English food has wider appeal. Curry is niche."
Sara tells the cameras: "I feel like telling Claire to shut the ******* up."
But Sara fails to buy enough spices to flavour the curries properly and Claire gloats: "It looks like vomit."
