The Press are picking up on the song time at the moment. Her publicist must doing a grand job. Here are a copy of examples:
Quote:
Chanelle: 'I'm no Poshalike' CHANELLE HAYES is getting in touch with her inner dominatrix in her debut single ‘I Want It’!
The saucy Big Brother babe is on a mission to crack the world of pop, and her new VH1 show, Chanelle: Wannabe Popstar, follows her from getting a record contract to releasing the single – and everything in between.
She told us: “It’s a spin-off from last year’s Wannabe show about a girl band. I’m dead excited about it.
“The single is called ‘I Want It’, it’s a bit like Britney’s new songs - it’s sexy for the boys, and the attitude, for the girls, is more feministic.
"We decided, ‘Why don’t we make it like the girl taking charge of the boy?’
Kylie
“It’s for girls who, if they’ve broken up with their boyfriend it’s like, ‘Ha, in your face’, and if they’ve just found a new boy, they can be like, ‘Ooh, I’m going to be the boss of you.’ It’s dead good. I’m not aspiring to being the next Kylie Minogue though.”
The sexy brunette hopes the show and single will make her a star in her own right, as she moves away from merely being a ‘Poshalike’.
“We’re introducing me as me, with my own clothes, my own songs, my own dances. It’s stepping away from the way you’ve seen me before.”
Loverat
Chanelle is so confident and composed, it is hard to believe just a few weeks ago her brief squeeze Seb Hines was rumbled for being a love-rat.
But she insists she never had any intention of being a WAG, and has moved on from the fiasco.
“I didn’t even realise Seb was a footballer until a few days after we’d met,” she said: “And I didn’t meet Seb because of the potential to be a WAG.
“What I’ve learned since coming out of Big Brother is no matter what people do, as long as you can meet someone you get along with and find attractive and makes you laugh and is honest and decent, that's all that matters. If I had time to look for someone then that’s what I would be looking for!”
Fame
And while she adores her glitzy new lifestyle, she is philosophical about fame:
“If it all ended tomorrow, I’d go back to the call centre, although if I answered the phone and said my name, people would probably hang up!
“But I wouldn’t have problems swallowing my pride and going back to my old job.”

Chanelle: People love to hate Chanelle Hayes has apparently insisted she's determined to prove she's more than a Posh Spice wannabe.
The Big Brother star is about to launch her pop career with new single I Want It.
She apparently told Star magazine: "I know that people think I'm talentless, but I've played the violin since I was seven and then I did music at A Level.
"I want to have a go at it and show people that I'm not just a miserable cow walking around with a pout on my face."
Chanelle said she isn't trying to copy her idol Victoria Beckham.
"She sings one way and I sing another," the 20-year-old said. "I don't sound like her when I speak and I'm not trying to sound like her when I sing. It's my name on the project, not Victoria Beckham's."
And Chanelle, who's launching the record through TV show Chanelle: Wannabe Popstar, apparently revealed she doesn't really care if the single flops.
"People love to hate, and if people don't like it - fair enough," she said. "I've got a CD with my name on it that I can give to my mum and she'll be dead proud. And I can give it to my children when I'm older so whether it goes to No 1 or one million doesn't matter.
"I just want to show that I can pose on the cover of a magazine or newspaper but I can also do academic things as well."
