In terms of William and Kate complaining, cropping your face out of an old photo and photoshopping it onto a recent picture of your kids to try to quash rumours circulating is a fairly clear indication of "being bovvered", is it not? I think they just wanted to do something nice for Mothers day, they generally release a picture, so no I don't think they were 'bovvered'
