Perception is subjective, a mere interpretation rather than the product of rationality. It is partial and produces an assessment tainted by emotion, a hierarchy of personal preferences. in short favouritism rather than the impartial reasoning that guides logic. .
The truth is not subject to interpretation based on personal preferences. The truth is imperial.. It is not an opinion and not compromised by personal feelings, one of the building blocks of subjectivity.
Consider the following: A man is accused of murdering a woman in the West End of London at 8pm on a Sunday. In court he claims that he was in Newcastle at 8pm on the Sunday in question and that he could not possibly have murdered the woman. Conclusion: There can only be one truth, no matter what is said, and this maxim applies to everything.
