They won't end up with any consequences, because there isn't a big club in the premier league that hasn't done exactly the same. If city get penalties, be prepared for liverpool, arsenal, spurs, chelsea and man u suffering the same consequences
Then all of them should be punished.

If the Footballing world (which in Europe we're all meant to follow similar financial regulations) can give points deductions to Blues, Everton, Forest, Reading multiple times, Southampton, Leeds, Luton, Derby, Sheffield Wed, and Bolton, I mean some of these teams are a similar size historically to Man City, yet they've all had points deductions in the past over FFP rule breaks, yet the so called big six don't? It's not really that different to how La Liga favours Real Madrid and Barcelona over the other 18 teams in their League when they repeatedly break rules.

What Football has got to remember, is that there are more people that will support a "smaller" club than there will be that supports a "bigger" club (even though Blues, Wigan, Swansea, and Leicester have actually won more trophies than Tottenham in recent years) but we will ignore the facts for now and I'll carry on with my point, which is if the Footballing world keeps showing such blatant favouritism towards the bigger teams, and a complete disregard for the smaller teams, then they can't be surprised if people that are fans of the smaller clubs end up losing interest in the Sport, because if their team is being treated more harshly than the big teams, then what's the point in following that particular team's progress?

It's no different to a TV Show that has a stagnant character with no character development, whilst that same TV Show gives another character all of the iconic storylines and dialogue, nobody likes such an unbalanced writing approach in a TV Show, and it shouldn't be acceptable for certain Football teams to get away with breaking the rules, whilst others can't.
