Thumbs up

FAR RIGHT IN SINISTER NEW PLOT TO SOUND COMPLETELY REASONABLE

REVEALE How the Far Right are manipulatively tricking people by suggesting
completely sane and sensible policies and then vilely and divisively trying to
implement those exact policies when people vote for them

The Far Right (like the Far Left) sprinkle bits of truth in with a lot of lies and insanity.

Imo if you can see through the one side doing this, then you have a good shot at seeing through the other side as well.

I'm just not seeing the momentum to stop Labour.

I could even see some Lib Dems and Green voters switching to Labour just to stop Tories and Reform.

I’d like to see the polls if they get shut of Sunak and get PennyM in place …

I'm not a communist. I don't believe that every worker should be paid the exact same regardless of their skills and experience. I've worked hard(ish) to gain the knowledge and experience needed to achieve a good salary. I think all of that is right.

BUT

The baseline HAS TO BE that any adult working full time doing any job can afford to live comfortably - a decent roof over their head, bills paid, decent food on the table, some money left over for recreation - or there's something very wrong.

Also, 2x full time minimum wage should be enough for two adults to support themselves + children without needing top-ups and struggling to buy food and clothes.

We're not talking about unemployment here - we're talking families who are working full time. This is surely the absolute basics of what society is for.

Labour can Put up many Taxes
including the council tax

[Keir Starmer would not rule out changes
to council tax rates in his plans for government,
as the Conservatives stepped up their demands
for Labour to rule out tax rises.]

https://www.morningstar.co.uk/uk/new...tax-rises.aspx

[The UK Labour party leader said he
would not "write the budgets for the next five years",
when asked about changes to council tax.]

changing the council tax doesn't raise significant revenue for government

Once the cameras are off they're both going to jump in Land Rovers and start mowing down loose cows.

"See, I told you it looked fun!" crows Cameron, hitting the accelerator.

"I always loved Mario Cart when I was a kid!!" toots Sunak in response.

Reform having trouble with its potential MPs.

One said Hitler had the right ideas.

This whole Reform thing, what a joke.
