of complications from prostate cancer, on May 12, 2024, at the age of 78. He had been diagnosed with the disease in 2018] ![]() Performing in 2008. His Alto Sax is a well-known sound. [In 1972, Sanborn played on the track "Tuesday Heartbreak" on the Stevie Wonder album Talking Book.
