When you have the most politically influential country in the world at the point of being extremely polarised politically... and the current cultural beacon that represents the side of that divide that (classically) is more in favour of unrestricted gun ownership gets shot...
...and you say "nah this isn't an opportune time to think or talk about gun politics it's irrelevant and a waste of time".  Really indicative of the age-old "TiBB debates is really not the place to have... debates" quandry
