The Italian Job
|
This is the guy who attacked a police officer during the vigil. This sparked the riot and the attack at the mosque.

Ugh just read through the whole thread. Some truly awful comments from both sides of the argument going on here.
As someone who has worked with kids for most of their career, this is genuinely my biggest fear. Whether it’s a school shooting, terrorist, gang or mental health related, it’s every teachers worst nightmare. One thing I have noticed is that pretty much every teacher is willing to die for their kids. I’ve only ever had one “school shooting” action meeting and it was very harrowing indeed. We had a firefighter come out and basically tell us to either run if possible or fight to kill. He gave us some pretty useful ideas of every day items you can use to attempt to defend yourself. One was a hammer, we mentioned kitchen/adult scissors/pots or pans if said childcare has a kitchen. He told us that if we stand there and beg to live, we are dead. And he’s right. People who pick these places to commit their attacks are total cowards who are targeting the ‘weaker’ ppl that cannot fight back. Ugh my heart hurts reading all of this. Jesus Christ

Zizu, this is the 3rd time you have posted stuff that has not been verified regarding the 17 year old's name. Why can't you just wait for it to come from a verified source

And things will only get worse now that Labour are in power, yes Starmer is still in his honeymoon stage ..... but i find it concerning that so much chaos and violence has kicked off in the space of days and weeks. Starmer isn't entirely to blame, the issues is far bigger than that. But you can tell the government hasn't got a clue how to handle it all. And it's far more complicated than it all being rooted in ' hate for foreigners' and 'rise in racist yobs', people are angry and scared and in genuine fear & worry. The images shown are like drunken football hooliganism... with predominantly white people screaming , but i think both sides of the media are unfairly bias and will always push a certain agenda. apparently Starmer was heckled and it was edited out or something. |

I do also agree with you that Labour's response to the situation could be a little stronger.
