used to go bowling or go to the efteling when i was a small child, with some family friends, but now more like relaxed birthdays opening gifts and either watch a movie or play some video games

we used to cook ourselves or at least prepare a cold potato salad with lots of veg, eggs etc, but recently we get chinese takeaway dinners, also nice to not have many things to clean afterwards
