The thing is there are certain keystones to his popularity and the idea that he's scared to debate someone or wouldn't "hand their arse to them lol lol" in a debate is a big one. The most hardcore Trumpers are in it because they're obsessed with the idea that it's all going to be OK because when "daddy gets home" he's going to save the world.

That illusion is shattered if he won't show his face.

She is not avoiding it. She is doing everything for the best success of her campaign. There are 3 months yet for her to do one on one interviews. She is on the rise, and while she has that momentum she will continue as she is doing. Trump is only trying to shake it up now because he is, at the moment, falling behind.

I am sure there will be plenty twists and turns yet to come in this election
